All vampires shall be seen as legal citizens of the United States.
That's right! No more secrets. The world of vampires, lycans, and witches has been revealed and furthermore, accepted! They walk among us in everyday life as our neighbors, co-workers, and even our bosses. It's strange how the old horror stories have come to reality; although, they were wrong about a few things. Not all of them are hostile; some are actually pretty nice. Of course, there are those that thirst for blood...err...well, you know what I mean. It's always a smart idea to watch your back, just in case. Suspicious activity in the Red Light District has been reported, so be sure to stay clear. Remember, vampires are only around at night!
Be careful or you might end up the closing act in the Circus of the Damned.
'Ello loves! My birth certificate defines me as 'Lisa' and I am the creator of this lovely site! I am finally 21, and I am currently part of the NC State University Wolfpack! My life has been threatened and held hostage by my major, chemical engineering, and I hold a certain fondness for Spanish as my minor. Writing and music hold a special place in my heart, as does being unacceptably crazy with friends. Don't hesitate to message me if you need anything!

Hi everyone! My name is Melissa I'm 22. I've lived in Minnesota my whole life. I've been RPing for about five or six years now. Writing is something I can do for fun, to get away from the world for a moment or two. When I'm not spending my time writing, I am either working or at school. I'm a student at Le Cordon Bleu I am in the Baking and Patisserie program. I will be graduating in November of this year!! I'm pretty excited and nervous all at the same time. I posted some pictures of my work in the community interactions board if you want to take a look. Anyway I better wrap this up, so if you ever have any questions feel free to ask me. If I don't know the answer I will find out and get back to you as soon as I can. Oh! If you would like to thread with either of my characters just shoot me a PM or track me down in the cbox and we can get to plotting!

Hey folks. My name's Crunchy and I'm the Australian mod. I've been roleplaying for nearly a decade, and I'm also a tabletop DM. I have degrees in both mathematics and philosophy and use neither in my work at a university library. I tend to be around at odd hours, and if you have any other questions or suggestions or want to plot with my characters feel free to PM me or track me down in the cbox. I am friendly like a kitten.

*Bounces in and waves* Hihi! My name is Nicolette, Nikki for short, and I am 23 years old. Currently I do not work and am not in school, but all of that will be changing this year. I start work at Bank of America in about a month or so, and will hopefully be attending college this fall, though I can't figure out just what I want to major in yet. Choices choices! I think there should be a major in Role Playing, don't you agree? I love reading anything that has to do with the preternatural world as well as romance novels of all types. I also have a deep infatuation with a lot of the new CW and ABC shows, they are my addiction! Please feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns, I'm always willing and able to help! If you'd like to thread with any of my characters please feel free to drop me a PM about that as well, I'd love to have more thread partners! ♥♥♥

Hey ya'll! The name's Phurae. I'm a Texas girl born and raised, but I tend to keep really strange hours....so you can find me on the board at the most random times. Matter of fact, I'm just pretty random in general. I'm a huge music lover, so feel free to bug me about anything and everything to do with. I'm also a bookworm and try to devour as many books as possible, especially if they have to do with supernatural or fantastical subjects. I'm a dreamer, a stupid joke maker, and a lover of all things fun. Laughing's my favorite and I have a terrible sweet tooth. I also love to help as much as I can, so don't be afraid to ask me for anything at all! ~Much love! <3

"He's old and crispy and likes to tell young women that they look like street walkers even though he himself sits creepily on a park bench in the middle of the night alone. Also, his accent is atrociously hilarious and awesome, and I am quite certain he has a hidden sweet side that he tries so very hard to hide with his rough and tough Scottish mannerisms."
FEMALE
"Is there anyone more frighteningly competent? She's raising a wonderful daughter, holding down two decidedly messy jobs, and she tosses vampires over her shoulder like they were throw rugs. She is not always calm or collected, but she is very, very cool."
CONNECTION
"If these two burn any hotter New York City will go up in flames. They bring out the worse in one another and it is a complete joy to watch them as they discover just how little chance they have of making the other one back down. Squirrels, lust, anger, blood, and taunts...what more could you want?"
QUOTE
"I shall fill your living room full of half open lacy shirts, heaving bosoms, and, if my memory serves me correctly, some truly terrible puns involving swords."

New to the site and want to stop in and say hi? Got a fun game you think the members will enjoy? Have a suggestion that you think would make the site better? Or just want to randomly chat it up? Here's your place! There is also a sub-board for departures!

The leader(s) for each group will need to create a list of rules and punishments for their clan. This will ensure that there is no doubt about punishment for in-character actions.
Need a break from the constant bustle of the city, but don't want to be too far from home? Uptown is the place to go. With numerous residencies and Central Park's tranquility, this is definitely the quieter option to the city life.
Also known as "The Village," this is the haven for students and vampires alike as it is also the Red Light District of Manhattan. It encompasses many sinful activities ranging from strip clubs, bars, prostitution, and drugs (typical nightlife for college kids, of course!). This part of the city is not for the feint of heart...enter at your own risk.
Having once been known as Hell's Hundred Acres, South of the Hudson, or SoHo, has become a lower-class neighborhood. It now houses artists, activists, and a few hidden brothels on the side.
New York's nightlife hot-spot. Downtown New York offers a wide variety of entertainment to suite everyone's needs. The hottest dance clubs, five-star restaurants, and Broadway shows can be found here.
Or if nightlife isn't your calling, come during the day for tons of shopping, sidewalk entertainers, and an experience you'll never forget.
Welcome to an artsy and historical part of the city. Although not as popular as Manhattan, this neighborhood of Brooklyn offers an authentic New York experience.
Offering a wide variety of small shops and restaurants down Vanderbilt Avenue, Prospect Heights is a nice place to visit to relax and perhaps take a stroll through the beautiful Prospect Park.
One of New York's most festive areas is Coney Island. With dozens of fun amusement park rides and games along the boardwalk, we can assure you, you won't be bored. Oh yeah! And be sure to try a famous Coney dog!
Even though this borough isn't as active as some of the others, it is still full of fun things to explore: it has the largest botanical gardens in the country and has quite an extraordinary zoo!
Queens is home to urban neighborhoods and several central business districts. Long Island City, on the Queens' waterfront across from Manhattan, is the site of the Citicorp Building, the tallest skyscraper in New York City outside of Manhattan.
This is perhaps the most nature-filled borough of New York City. With it's hundreds of acres of parks, it's a good place to detox from the city or perhaps even go for a little hunt at night.
Away from all the economic chaos of the cities in New York, much of the land is populated by Mother Nature's own. With the Adirondack Mountains, small lakes and reservoirs, it is the perfect place for a quiet getaway.
Or if your fancy is in farming, much of the land is used for agricultural purposes. Beware the smell though!
Once your character is accepted, you can come here to start plotting with other members to try and figure out how you want to develop your character. The possibilities are endless. Be sure to check back here often and make new members feel welcome!
Need a signature or avatar for your character? Or have a board you want the staff to make? Come here to place your request, and some of our members and staff would be happy to help you out.!
Here is where all old, inactive, finished, and abandoned threads will be moved. Character applications will be placed in the Inactive Character Archive. If at any point you would like a thread moved back out, please PM the Administration account.
